About the Directory of Addiction Study Programs (DASP)

The Directory of Addiction Study Programs is a comprehensive list of institutions offering a certificate, associate, bachelor, master and/or doctoral program in substance use disorders. Also included in this directory are institutions offering a concentration, specialty or minor in the addiction field.

The data was originally gathered and compiled by the Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) National Office by verifying information and merging data provided by the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), the Peterson's Guide, International Consortium for Addiction Studies Educators (INCASE) and ATTC Regional Centers. The program information from each institution was verified through the institution's Web site, e-mail correspondence or personal telephone contact. The directory is continually being revised in order to provide you with the most current information. You will see a revision date listed on each institution's entry.

Appearance in this directory does not constitute an endorsement by the ATTC Network. Users of this directory should contact the institution of interest, verify all information and determine whether the program meets their academic goals.

The Directory of Addiction Study Programs may not include all institutions offering addiction education opportunities. We welcome additions, updates and corrections at anytime.
