What's New: STD, HIV, TB, Hepatitis, Family Planning, and Addiction

Conference: This conference will focus on the integration efforts that support a collaborative healthcare approach. Current medical updates in services for STDs, HIV, TB, Hepatitis C, family planning and addictions will be discussed. Professionals working in these areas will be able to increase their knowledge of new updates in an interprofessional environment. Objectives: 1) State current practice in the care and treatment of STDs, HIV, TB, and Hepatitis C, 2) Explain how to screen clients for substance abuse issues, and 3) Describe the current methods of effective contraception. Audience: physicians, clinicians, nurses, counselors, social workers, educators, case managers and intervention specialists.
