Educational Event: This six-hour training is intended for behavioral and health care professionals working within any setting. This five-module curriculum was developed to instruct behavioral and health care practitioners on opportunities for promoting Hepatitis C (HCV) and substance use disorder (SUD) screening and testing, linking patients to Hepatitis C health care, and to inform treatment options and patient considerations. Requirements for the course, participants: 1) should have a background in behavioral health and infectious diseases, and 2) must have baseline knowledge of current and emerging trends in screening, testing, diagnosis, and treatment of HCV, and 3) identify two strategies for creating culturally affirming interactionsRegistration Fee: Free.
