Alcohol Use, Abuse, and Alcoholism Course - A free, online library of lectures where NIAAA Director Dr. Ting-Kai Li’s presentation titled, “Alcohol Use, Abuse, and Alcoholism” was recently added. The Supercourse is an open-source global repository of more than 3,000 lectures. Dr. Li’s presentation includes an overview of alcohol use and its relationship to health problems, NIAAA research priorities, and pharmacological and behavioral treatments for alcohol use disorders.

International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse, Inc. (IC&RC)  - Sets the international standards of practice in addiction counseling, prevention and clinical supervision through testing and credentialing of addiction professionals.

Social Work Curriculum on Alcohol Use Disorders - Covers current research in the areas of epidemiology, etiology, prevention, screening, assessment, intervention and motivational interviewing, legal and ethical issues, coordinated care systems, intimate partner violence, adolescence, women, older adults, homelessness, comorbidity, sexual orientation, refugees and immigrants, ethnicity, disability, and fetal exposure to alcohol.

Substance Abuse and Coexisting Disabilities w/ Post-Test for CEUs - Northeast ATTC’s Resource Links newsletter article summarizing the prevalence of substance abuse and coexisting disabilities and associated risks. Case studies and treatment approaches are included.

Mid-America ATTC:
Collaborative Response: Addressing the Needs of Consumers with Co-Occurring Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders: Item #M09-Participant
– Eight (8) session, 21 hour curriculum designed by Mid-America ATTC to promote a cross-disciplinary understanding between mental health and addiction clinicians. Two (2) three-hour trainer-led sessions are followed by six (6) two-hour small group sessions
