CCSAD Program Highlights - Including the New heART & Science of Addiction 
The 2016 curriculum highlights current topics and challenges relevant to the industry. Attendees can earn up to 32.5 CEs and choose from 66 challenging keynotes and workshops led by more than 60 highly-skilled faculty members. CCSAD provides unique opportunities to focus on specialty areas through collaborations with Rosewood, IAFAP, ASAM, AAAP, and NEATTC. Look for these focused learning series and meetings highlighted throughout the program.

The new heArt and Science of Addiction learning serieces, in collaboration with the New England Addiction Technology Transfer Center (NEATTC), will focus on the application of emerging research and will include:
  • Evidence-Based Criminogenic Risk Reduction - Michael Torch, MA, LADC 
  • Management of Pain, Anxiety and Sleep in Patients with Addictive Disease - Richard Whitney, MD
  • Implementing Technology-Assisted Care into Behavioral Health Settings: Telehealth - Michael Torch, MA, LADC

  • Increasing Hepatitis C Knowledge for Behavioral Health Providers - Haner Hernandez, PhD, CPS, CADCII, LADCI
