The Great Lakes ATTC in partnership with the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction is pleased to offer the Clinical Supervision Foundations Course, which includes:
The three interconnected components are designed to prepare senior clinicians to be clinical supervisors and enhance current supervisorsā skills and knowledge to provide meaningful supervision. PREREQUISITE: Part I: Clinical Supervision Foundations, Online Introductory Course. This 14-hour self-paced course allows supervisors to acquire foundational clinical supervision knowledge and basic skills at their own pace. The online course is required to participate in the two-day face-to-face training, Clinical Supervision Foundations Part II. Part II: A Two-Day Face-to-Face Training. This training is delivered in two 6-hour consecutive days, providing 13 credit hours. It builds upon the knowledge gained in the on-line portion, providing the skills building application to allow participants to practice and hone their supervisory skills. Part III: On-Line, Web-based Learning Community. Six 1-hour web-based follow up sessions. Utilizing case studies and implementation experiences, participants will hone their skills in utilizing TAP 21, developing counselor development plans, processing clinical supervision sessions. Participants will utilize the instructor and learning community peers to provide feedback and provide support. This is a closed event.
