Mental Health Technology Transfer Center Launched

The University of Wisconsin-Madison is part of a new effort by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to strengthen mental health services across the nation.

The Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies (CHESS), housed in UW-Madison’s Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, has received a $3.7 million, five-year grant to serve as the Mental Health Technology Transfer Center for Region 5, which includes Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio.
