SBIRT 101 is aimed to help jump-start Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) skills. It is designed for health professionals new to SBIRT or for those desiring a refresher training. The speakers will address screening tools applicable for family planning clinics, discuss a Brief Negotiated Interview and the "FLO" (Feedback, Listen and Understand, Options Explored) method, and introduce the warm handoff to referral to treatment.
