Basic Motivational Interviewing - Cohort 6 (New England Region 1)

The New England ATTC, in partnership with the Vermont Department of Corrections is providing targeted TA in "Basic Motivational Interviewing" - Parts 1 and 2 on 2/15/23 and 2/16/23  from 1:00 am to 4:15 pm with subject matter expert Robert Jope.  Motivational interviewing (MI) is a client-centered, evidence-based, goal-oriented method for enhancing intrinsic motivation to change by exploring and resolving ambivalence with the individual. This active, skill-building workshop provides participants with knowledge of the spirit, micro skills, and strategies of the model, and provides opportunities to practice the approach.
