The New England ATTC, in partnership with the Community Care Alliance of Rhode Island is hosting this training on 5/18/22 and 5/24/22 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with subject matter expert Taylor D'Addario.  The goal of this training is to provide educational and practice experiences that will prepare community mental health providers to provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions.  Participants will review basic  concepts of CBT; understand key interventions for CBT (group and individual); recognize the importance of respectful and empowering client engagement in the treatment process; integrate CBT interventions in safe and therapeutic ways throughout the CBT work (treatment plan); and discuss clinical application of CBT as it relates to patient populations as seen in Behavioral Health.
