The New England ATTC, in partnership with the Vermont Department of Corrections is providing targeted technical assistance in "Intermediate Motivational Interviewing" on 4/7/23 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm with subject matter expert Robert Jope. Motivational Interviewing is a client-centered, goal-oriented, evidence-based practice for enhancing intrinsic motivation to change by exploring and resolving ambivalence within the individual. This experiential workshop introduces participants to the spirit, micro skills, and strategies of the model and fosters competent MI delivery via practice conversations. Participants are encouraged to attend the Advanced MI workshop to develop further proficiency in this method.
