Cultural Elements with Hispanic Adolescents - WEBINAR

Hispanic adolescents in the US tend to grow up within intersecting Latino and American cultures. Addressing maladaptive behavior with Latino youth encourages a culturally informed approach that integrates an ecological understanding of their world and the factors that influences their behavior. Some of these can include substance use disorders, mental health concerns, family dysfunction, adolescent development stages, and more.
This interactive two-part (90 minute) webinar series will inform behavioral health and other practitioners on adolescent Hispanic cultural elements, acculturation and identity development, adolescent sexual health, as well as teen engagement through technology. Content will also review current evidence-based strategies recommended for Hispanic adolescents.
