Cultural Humility & Motivational Interviewing – Combined to Engage & Retain LGBTQIA People in Care

LGBTQIA people are much more than their sexual orientation and gender identity. This interactive webinar combines the perspectives and practices of both Cultural Humility and Motivational Interviewing, inviting participants to consider how these approaches, used in tandem, can enhance engagement and retention of LGBTQIA people.

This (1-hour) webinar was provided under New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) Education and Training. Provider Certification Number (115) Training under a New York State OASAS Provider Certification is acceptable for meeting all or part of the CASAC/CPP/CPS education and training requirements.
