On 12 March 2019, the South Africa HIV ATTC team hosted a Motivational interviewing (MI) training led by Professor and Dr. Stephen Rollnick, co-founder of the MI approach. Providers from all realms of healthcare delivery were present, including provincial directors in community based and hospital services, clinical services, and resource development.

The South Africa HIV ATTC continually strives to deliver the highest quality evidence-based training and technical assistance. Our partnership with Professor Rollnick is a key part of this effort! Professor Rollnick also led a training of trainers within the South Africa HIV ATTC team to enhance the team's capacity to deliver MI training.
