In 2018, more than 19.3 million Americans adults reported to have a substance use disorder. With that number raising daily, finding proper treatment has been extremely hard. To help combat the opioid crisis, the "Department of Health and Human Services’s Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) announced the launch of FindTreatment.gov, a new and improved website for helping to connect Americans throughout the United States who are looking for substance abuse treatment."
This website will provide the most relevant information at your fingertips. "Visitors can access information on treatment providers’ locations, treatment options, payment and insurance information, and on more than 13,000 state-licensed facilities, based on data compiled by SAMHSA." The website is supposed to focus on individual recovery in a modern, extremely simple and clear visual website platform. They are also open to feedback to improving, if something is not as user- friendly as they promised!
