"What is Addiction?" Video Now Available in 12 Languages

The Addiction Policy Forum’s video explainer, “What is Addiction?”, has been translated into 12 languages to enhance accessibility. It covers the biological, psychological, and social components of addiction, aiming to foster empathy and improve prevention and treatment efforts.

Available Languages: Arabic, Bosnian, Burmese, Chinese, Dari, French, Pashto, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog, and Ukrainian.

Opioid Prevention Materials

  Mid-America ATTC  (MATTC) partnered with the Ethnic Communities Opioid Response Network in Missouri, the Addiction Policy Forum, and the Opioid Response Network (ORN in IA, KS, MO, and NE) to translate Prevention of Opioid Use Education Materials into ten different languages and ensure they are culturally appropriate.
