Join the National Institutes of Health community along on June 19, 2021 to celebrate Juneteenth – a holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the US. We encourage you to walk for a distance of 1.9k or do another wellness activity (running, stretching, dancing, breathing exercises, etc.) for a duration of 19 minutes. The NIH Fitness Center will be leading a 19-minute fitness activity available for registered participants to join virtually on June 19th at 10am EDT. As appropriate, participants are encouraged to consult with their health care provider prior to engaging in vigorous exercise.

We encourage you to share your participation in this virtual event on social media using the hashtags #8CRENIHJuneteenth #MoveForEquity.

This event is collaboration with the Supporters of 8CRE, NIH Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and other NIH Institutes/Centers/Offices.
