Areas of Expertise

I have extensive experience in the clinical management of persons with viral hepatitis and comorbidities including SUD which continues to drive new hep C infections; particularly among our young adult population. I have the good fortune to be able to educate other health care providers, community based organizations and substance use treatment programs on viral hepatitis, strategies to support access to treatment and cure of hep C, and ways to deliver low barrier substance use treatment to our most vulnerable populations. I consider it a privilege to be able to educate the public, frontline staff and fellow clinicians on the merits of hep C cure and how best to achieve optimal outcomes.
