Dr. Craig Field is the Senior Advisor to the Provost for Interdisciplinary Health Behavior Research, Director, Interdisciplinary Health Behavior Research Consortium, Associate Professor, Department of Psychology at the University of Texas, El Paso. Part of national efforts to encourage the dissemination and implementation of SBIRT for nearly ten years. Has been a part of three federally funded randomized clinical trials implementing screening and brief motivational intervention in four urban, Level I trauma centers. Provided consultation to hospital settings throughout the US on how to most effectively and efficiently implement screening and brief intervention.
