Yolanda Jenkins MS,CAADC

Yolanda Jenkins is the Manager of Provider Services for the Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (DPBHS). Yolanda has been with DPBHS since 2003. She has worked in the Prevention Unit, and Quality unit. Additionally, Yolanda Jenkins has held other roles for DPBHS. She has served on the Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families (DSCYF) Trauma Informed Committee that received the 2017 Governor’s Team Excellence Award. Yolanda has also played a major role in Suicide Prevention. She has done gatekeeper training throughout the state, gathered data and managed programs, and services to prevent death by suicide and co-directed a statewide suicide prevention program “Project Safety”.

Yolanda holds a Master’s degree from St Joseph’s University in Health Care Administration and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Cheyney University. She brings a wealth of experience as a CARF surveyor of 16 plus year and has traveled extensively throughout the country and in Canada looking at behavioral health, Opioid, and employment and community services programs just to name a few. She has served as an adjunct professor for colleges and universities. Other professional experiences include consultant, trainer, substance use counselor, MST therapist, case management, and hospital social worker assessment and referral specialist. Yolanda is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
