Decreasing Systemic Barriers Along the HIV Care Continuum for Patients with Substance Use Disorders

The purpose of this webinar is to enable participants to increase their knowledge regarding decreasing systemic barriers for patients with HIV and substance use disorders. This webinar is hosted by the MidAtlantic AIDS Education & Training Center (MAETC).

 

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe common systemic barriers faced by individuals with substance use and HIV risk when navigating the HIV and Behavioral Health Care Continuums.
  2. Explain how systemic barriers affect individuals with substance use disorders and HIV along the HIV and Behavioral Health Care Continuums.
  3. Discuss steps providers can take to decrease systemic barriers, and increase bi-directional integration of BH and HIV public health interventions.
