Recovery Month is celebrated every September to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders, celebrate the people who recover and are in recovery, and promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices. The theme for National Recovery Month 2022 is "Recovery is for Everyone: Every Person, Every Family, Every Community."
