The New England ATTC is proud to partner with the Central Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital to sponsor the 5th Annual Dual Virtual Recovery Conference: Applying a Social Justice and Public Health Lens to the Impact of Mass Incarceration on People with Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health Challenges on June 13 from 1:00 to 4:00 with subject matter experts Haner Hernandez and Michele Stewart-Copes. This conference session will review the development of disparities in the US and their impacts on racialized and marginalized communities with a specific focus on mass incarceration and trauma.
