De-escalation, Management of Aggressive Behavior, and Patient Engagement Strategies- A Trauma-Informed Approach (New England Region 1)

The New England ATTC in partnership with the Community Care Alliance of RI is providing targeted technical assistance in De-escalation, Management of Aggressive Behavior, and Patient Engagement Strategies – A Trauma-Informed Approach on 3/24/23 from 9:00-12:00 with subject matter expert Sarah Baker. This interactive and experiential workshop offers an overview of the impact of trauma on the recovery process from a social, biological, psychological, and spiritual perspective and will provide clinicians with the skills needed to respond to aggressive behavior and apply de-escalation strategies using a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes patient safety and engagement.
