The New England Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC), and the New England Association of Recovery Court Professionals (NEARCP), are hosting a new webinar for criminal justice professionals. Incentives on a Dime is a 1 ½ hour session that focuses on learning the science supporting the use of incentives and their effective application. The training includes a deep dive into multiple affordable evidence-based incentives including positive peer board, certificates, hand-made cards, “easing the burden” incentives, fishbowl, spin the wheel, tokens such as Decision Dollars, and more. The workshop focuses on the creation, implementation, and delivery of incentives. Participants will leave with detailed handouts, a fully customized toolkit, and skills!

Attendees will:

• Understand why incentives are essential and how to identify participant proximal and distal behaviors that should be rewarded with incentives.
• Learn how to create and implement numerous low-cost/no-cost evidence-based incentives.
• Explore the essential elements of an effective response and how to deliver specific types of incentives to create learning opportunities that motivate engagement.
