Conference on Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome is an interprofessional event designed to provide an opportunity for various disciplines throughout
RI to coordinate and collaborate ensuring the best care for pregnant women and substance-exposed
newborns. This interactive event will include
presentations as well as small group discussions.
The major areas of focus will be an overview of
treatment for opioid use disorder and NAS, models of practice such as interprofessional-shared decision making, trauma-informed care and stigma reduction.
