Compassion fatigue is a condition characterized by emotional and physical exhaustion leading to a diminished ability to empathize or feel compassion for others, often described as the negative cost of caring. It is sometimes referred to as secondary traumatic stress (STS).

This webinar aims to provide tools for the judiciary employees of PR, who express feeling drained, mentally exhausted, and have identified that these factors are affecting their daily lifestyle, including work responsibilities.

The Department of Justice of Puerto Rico has requested this training to educate their judicial employees on how to better assess their mental health and explore coping skills to further address ongoing struggles with client care and referral.

CEUs are not offered for this course. A certificate of attendance will be provided.
