HCV Snapshot is a free, 90-minute online course. It is designed to briefly familiarize medical and behavioral health professionals with hepatitis C. Learning Objectives The course's four self-paced modules cover: Populations at risk: Describe populations at increased risk for hepatitis C. Hepatitis C, the disease: Differentiate hepatitis C from A and B, and review transmission, symptoms, testing, and curability. Screening processes: Describe the screening process and the importance of your role in addressing patient concerns and improving outcomes. Treatment options: Review factors influencing treatment, current and emerging treatment options, and patients' treatment concerns. **Continuing education is available, including CNE, NASW, NAADAC, and CHES.** This course was developed by Mid-America Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC), part of the Collaborative for Excellence in Behavioral Health Research and Practice.

Online SBIRT training courses for APRNs, Physicians and Physician Assistants, Preceptors. Course/training description: The Southeastern Consortium for Substance Abuse Training (SECSAT) is a project designed to increase training among resident programs in the Southeast, and to encourage and enable these residents to implement SBIRT in their future primary care practices. Disclaimer: This resource was developed prior to the launch of the ATTC Network's initiative on person-first and recovery oriented language. As such, it uses outdated terminology that is not aligned with current standards. Network representatives were unable to obtain permission to modify the existing resource, and recommend that should you use these sources to develop your own, that you embrace the current language best practices.
