Strategic plans today require clarity and flexibility. Organizations need clarity on their purpose (mission)and lightness on their feet to shift as the environment provides new challenges and opportunities. This course reviews an adaptive strategic planning process to address these needs. Attention is also given to project oversight and integration with strategic planning.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
•Describe the steps in a strategic planning process;
•Name two ways to ensure that a strategic plan, while remaining true to an organization’s mission, is flexible enough to respond to rapidly changing conditions;
•Discuss project oversight in relation to an organization’s strategic plan.
