The second session of this four-part series will review the ABC’s of the substance exposed newborn: NAS, NOWS, PNA, NAPS. This session will go into detail about newborn opioid withdrawal, how the presentation may differ from other substance exposures, and the impact of poly-substance exposure. It will discuss care and treatment of the newborn after delivery and the potential impact on longer term outcomes.
