The New England ATTC, in partnership with the Southeastern Mental Health Authority is providing targeted TA in "Impact of Compassion Fatigue in the Helping Profession" on 8/6/24 from 1:00-4:00 with subject matter expert Taylor D'Addario. This training is to assist all those who work with vulnerable populations who have experienced trauma. The main goal is to raise awareness in the workers of secondary traumatic stress, and the resulting compassion fatigue that can result from it and how to reverse the trajectory. Secondary traumatic stress does not only come from working with trauma survivors.
