The New England ATTC is continuing to offer a bi-monthly intensive technical assistance series for the New Hampshire Drug Courts and Office of Community Corrections in Massachusetts to promote the implementation of motivational interviewing principles throughout the correction's system. The next session,"Motivational Interviewing: Advancing the Practice" will be offered on April 8th by subject matter experts Kelley Newkirk and Bob Jope. This session will focus on deepening the skills of empathic reflections, asking open-ended questions, and offering affirmation throughout the screening process. It will also consist of planning and preparation for ongoing practice and feedback.
