This training was for the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health. Attendees of this training will gain knowledge about Motivational Interviewing as a means of promoting behavior change. Those who attend this training will learn how to conduct a brief intervention for substance use disorders using motivational interviewing principles: such skills are expected to improve HIV treatment outcomes through improved treatment of co-occurring alcohol and drug use.
