This event will discuss the role of pharmacotherapies for substance use and mental health disorders, why medications are safe and effective when used appropriately and why patients should be informed of the risks and benefits of medication assisted treatments.This is an ongoing technical assistance event for the STR Peer Specialist component of the PR BH SSA. The audience are persons in recovery who are in the process of obtaining peer specialist certification.
