The ASAM criteria fosters outcome-driven and results-based care in the treatment of individuals who have a substance use and/or co-occurring diagnosis. ASAM criteria provide separate placement criteria for adolescents and adults to create comprehensive and person-centered treatment plans to use in service planning and treatment across all services and levels of care.
During the first virtual session on May 23rd, all participants will be exposed to the training curriculum and will have the opportunity to discuss challenging training issues that may arise during ASAM Criteria workshops. During the second session (June 6th OR June 13th), participants will prepare for and practice teaching portions of the curriculum and receive feedback from the master trainer and other ToT participants.
In order to provide ample time for participant teaching presentations, the second session of the TOT will be divided into two group cohorts (make your selection below in the registration form).
