Workshop will discuss main mental health disorders symptoms that co-occur with substance use disorders. A diagnosis of co-occurring disorders occurs when at least one disorder of each type can be established independent of the other and is not simply a cluster of symptoms resulting from the one disorder. This is an ongoing technical assistance event for the STR Peer Specialist component of the PR BH SSA. The audience are persons in recovery who are in the process of obtaining peer specialist certification.
