The New England ATTC in partnership with the Connecticut Department of Corrections is providing intensive TA in “Understanding and Addressing Vicarious Trauma (Training of Trainers)” on 1/4/24 from 9:00-4:00 with subject matter expert Sarah Baker. Vicarious trauma is the cumulative process of change that happens when treating people who have experienced trauma. This presentation offers an understanding of this “process of change” and shows how it can lead to changes in a clinician’s psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being. It will also offer strategies and guidance to address this trauma and to present this information to colleagues.
