This conference is in its 18th year as a professional development event for addiction treatment professionals in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Central East is sponsoring several presenters, including the plenary speaker, Gerald D. Shulman, who will speak on Opiate Use in Context of Legal Drug Culture, and Douglas A. Brown and Cynthia Palmaz, whose presentation is entitled "Beyond the Basics - New Innovations in Addiction."
