The Central East ATTC is continuing it's collaboration with the West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI) Project ECHO Program, Marshall University, and West Virginia University’s Department of Behavioral Medicine to deliver an ECHO series for primary care organizations in the area of Pregnant and Parenting Women (PPW) with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Using the ECHO “hub and spoke” model, each session will include a brief expert presentation on a topic related to PPW with SUD, followed by a de-identified case presentation for discussion. Participants from primary care settings across WV are invited to participate and present cases for the interdisciplinary discussion.
The following are the topics that will start off the new fiscal year:
October 9th, 2023 Transitions of Care for Postpartum Women with Substance Use Disorder
November 13, 2023 Treatment of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS)
December 11, 2023 Building a Reflective Capacity to Parent with Substance Use Disorder
