SATTC was excited to announce our new podcast. The New Voice of SUD: Let’s Grow Together, (https://anchor.fm/southeast-attc). This podcast has highlighted candid conversations with experts to spark new ideas, impact and strengthen the work that we do and focus on the workforce development of young professionals, SUD (substance use disorder) treatment providers, researchers, and community organizations.

Our hope is that this podcast would highlight new research in behavioral health, challenges in the addiction workforce, provide substance use resources, and identify services and support with an emphasis on minority women. Celene Craig, with SATTC, says, “The idea for SATTC to create a pilot podcast was to invoke a fresh new way to converse and address some hot topics in the addiction/SUD community. To keep professionals involved and spark the interest of a new generation of professionals we have to be creative in our approach to engage our audience we seek to capture. The feedback on the piloting of this project has been great and I’m excited to see what it will turn into.”
