The presentation details two task shifting models supported by the South Africa HIV ATTC: (1) treatment partner (TP), psychoeducation, and m-health intervention; and (2) community health worker (CHW) mental health training intervention.

One revolutionary program in Compton, California lets women bring them all -- fathers/partners and children of all ages -- to experience the recovery journey together. "Bring Them All" tells the story of family-centered care through the perspectives of clients and staff at SHIELDS for Families.

The purpose of this introductory training is to provide HIV clinicians (including, but not limited to physicians, dentists, nurses, and other allied medical staff, therapists and social workers, and counselors, specialists, and case managers) with a detailed overview of HIV and psychotropic medications.

Co-occurring disorders (CODs) occur frequently and can significantly impact mother and child. In this webinette, Dr. Cooke will present information on the significance of CODs and their risk factors; discuss the importance of repeat screening, appropriate referral, and coordinated treatment; and share the safety profiles of the various medications available to treatment CODs and how to take in account the risks to mother and child.

This revision of the March 2012 face-to-face version of the Pacific Southwest ATTC’s SBIRT curriculum was prepared by the National Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment ATTC. The goals of the training remain the same: to help participants to develop skills related to SBIRT, and to begin a conversation around implementation of SBIRT in standard practice. The revised curriculum expands the format and presents the trainer with the opportunity to focus on any 1 of 4 option.

ROWBOATS is an acronymn for helping individuals with cognitive impairment. This card contains tips for helping individuals with cognitive impairment as well as common symptoms and facts about TBI.

These practice guidelines are framed by the notions of recovery and resilience. It is this framework, and an unwavering belief in recovery and resilience in behavioral health, that should be the basis for service delivery.

This book comprises 20 essays in which family members described, in their own words, the most challenging part about having a family member with a substance use disorder, what it means to have a loved one find long-term recovery and explain why they are committed to recovery.
