Bob Phillips has successfully implemented and evaluated SBIRT in the context of integrated behavioral healthcare within primary medical care, and in-patient rehabilitation settings. Bob is a terrestrial from Roswell, New Mexico, and Chair of Human Services and Addiction Studies at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell. He is the first New Mexico graduate of the Nicholas A. Cummings Doctor of Behavioral Health program at Arizona State University, and has served the field for over 35 years as clinician, educator and trainer and in leadership positions with the New Mexico Addiction Education Network, the International Coalition for Substance Abuse Education, NAADAC, and the National Association of Doctors of Behavioral Health.
