Isaac Coy, LAC, NCAC-I, is a Treatment Program Manager for the Department of Health and Human Services in the Addictive and Mental Disorders Division in Helena, MT. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Montana. He is a Licensed Addictions Counselor and Nationally Certified Addictions Counselor. He has worked for the Addictive and Mental Disorders Division since 2013. Prior to working for the state, he worked in numerous settings including the WATCh (Warm Springs Addictions, Treatment, and Change) Program and Connection Corrections Programs in Warm Springs, MT. He also worked for Boyd Andrew Community Services and worked on PACT (program of Assertive Community Treatment) at the Center for Mental Health, both in Helena, MT. He lives in Helena with his wife, son, daughter, dog; and enjoys long distance running.
I present classes on Addictions annually at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy. I provide presentations covering Montana Medicaid 1-3 times per year. I am trained in SBIRT, ASAM Criteria, and Interactive Journaling. I represent Montana with several national workgroups and serve as a subject matter expert for projects within Montana.
