This is a CLOSED series. Participants are selected by Wisconsin DHS.
In this series, emerging leaders will receive virtual training and enrichment opportunities that will support them as the next generation of Wisconsin behavioral health leaders in their communities. Over the course of 9 months, mentors from prominent organizations throughout Wisconsin will present about themselves and their culture, and the participating leaders will also share about themselves and their experiences in both small and large group discussions. After completing the initial immersion sessions of this series, each leader will create a final project with guidance from a mentor on a topic of their choosing. These projects will be presented during the graduation ceremony in September. The participants of the Emerging Leaders Institute will be from historically underserved populations, such as Native American, African American, Latino/Latinx/Hispanic, Asian American, and more.
