Addressing Co-Occurring Disorders (CLOSED EVENT)

This presentation focuses on how to address co-occurring disorders. The topics covered will include interaction between substance use disorders and mental illness, making diagnoses, person-centered co-occurring disorders treatment; evidence-based best practices in co-occurring disorders care, and how to prevent clients with co-occurring disorders from slipping through the “cracks” when seeking or receiving treatment.

  • The strengths and weaknesses of these three types of co-occurring disorders treatments
  • Best practices for diagnosing and treating co-occurring disorders
