This workshop will help identify individuals with, or at risk for, an opioid or alcohol use disorder, provide an overview of the common myths and misconceptions surrounding medication-assisted substance abuse treatment (MAT), review of the evidence for MAT effectiveness as well as list strategies and resources for referring clients struggling with substance use disorders for assessment for these life-saving medications.
