The Great Lakes ATTC offers cultural competency and process improvement training to individuals working in HHS Region 5: IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI. This training is being provided in response to a need identified by Region 5 stakeholders.

Contingency management (CM) uses motivational incentives to encourage desired changes. Substance use treatment providers have achieved strong results in using CM as evidence-based practice to increase client show rates, increase clean urine screens, and to influence a number of other behaviors.
Certificates of attendance will be emailed to all participants who attend the training in full.
This training will be held from 10:00 AM–11:30 AM Eastern (9:00AM–10:30 AM Central) on January 5, 12, 19, & 26, 2022.
Mat Roosa was a founding member of NIATx and has been a NIATx coach for a wide range of projects. He works as a consultant in the areas of quality improvement, organizational development, and planning, evidence-based practice implementation. His experience includes direct clinical practice in mental health and substance use services, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and human service agency administration.
