The Great Lakes A/MH/PTTC is offering this training for individuals working in HHS Region 5: IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI. This training is being provided in response to a need identified by Region 5 stakeholders.
If you’ve completed our Motivational Interviewing Foundational Skills trainings and are ready to implement MI in your practice or organization, this training is for you!
In four one-hour sessions, you’ll receive the guidance and process tools you can use to implement and sustain MI—or any other evidence-based practice—at a systems level. Participants will be supported with guidance and the process tools needed to develop and implement systems level strategies for providing effective and sustained motivational interviewing services.
Registrants who fully attend this event or training will receive a certificate of attendance. Certificates are disseminated via email to all qualifying individuals approximately two weeks after the conclusion of the event or training.
Mat Roosa, LCSW-R
Mat Roosa (Rosa) is a founding member of NIATx and has been a NIATx coach for a wide range of projects. He works as a consultant and trainer in the areas of quality improvement, organizational development, and planning, evidence-based practice implementation. Mat’s experience also includes direct clinical practice in mental health and substance use services, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and human service agency administration.
