The 4th Edition of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) hardcopy and digital versions are now available for purchase. Treatment providers and program evaluators use patient placement criteria to ensure that clients receive the appropriate level of care based on person-centered needs. This 2-hour overview webinar will highlight changes in the 4th Edition. The content will explore the updated ASAM 6-dimensions and the revised and updated Continuum of Care. Level of care updates will be provided and how level of care will be determined utilizing the new criteria.
