Providing Culturally Responsive Services for LGBT Individuals (Indiana)

The Great Lakes Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC), HHS Region 5, in partnership with Clark/Floyd Stsem of Care and Prevent Child Abuse Clark & Floyd, is offering the virtual training, “Providing Culturally Responsive Services to LGBT Individuals.” The curriculum begins with an introduction to key terms and concludes with treatment considerations for clinical work. This training also addresses the specific needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals.

This training meets the qualifications for the provision of three CE credits/contact hours. The Great Lakes ATTC is an approved provider of continuing education through the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC)
 

This event is closed to the public. The content of the training is focused towards providers working with LGBT individuals, especially: MH and SUD clinicians, HIV treatment and therapy providers, government employees (state, county, and local), primary care providers, public health practitioners, prevention specialists, community-based organizations, teachers, and counselors.
